Pilfer Proof Packaging
Nayara has set up most advanced packaging infrastructure at its petrochemical complex at Vadinar to package its entire polymer products. The facility consists of fully automatic FFS packing machines and auto loading facility.
FFS (Form- Fill- Seal) multilayer bags are manufactured with high performance polyethylene (PE) material using co-extrusion blown film process. Form-fill-seal (FFS) system is the integrated solution where the bag is cut and formed from a continuous reel, then filled and sealed as a finished pack. It is pilfer proof packaging, fully water resistant and contamination-free. These bags are tough, stiff and have good tear propagation resistance.
These bags are 100% recyclable.
FFS Bag Handling Technique
The packaging requires careful handling during loading, unloading and transportation. Following are the guidelines while
handling the bags
During Loading and Unloading
- Do not use hooks or any other sharp object while handling the bags.
- Do not lift the bag by putting hands in gusset area of the bag. The bags are to be lifted by holding the sides of the bag with both hands.
- Ensure the flooring or pallet (on which bags will be kept) is free of any sharp objects like nails, wooden edges, gravels or any metal objects.
- Do not step on bags with footwear.
- Do not throw the bags on the floor or pallets while handling. Place it gently to avoid damage to the bags.
- Store the bags in closed, well ventilated area away from sunlight, oil and moisture.
During Transportation
- Inspect all the sides of the inside storage area of the vehicle for presence of any sharp objects, broken edges of wood or metal, gravels or metal objects and clean the area thoroughly to prevent any damage to the bags before loading.
- Do not throw the bags on the floor or pallets while handling. Place it gently to avoid damage to the bags.
